Specialty Staff

When a situation requires diagnostics that will be critical in dictating the course of care, you want to be sure the individuals performing and interpreting the tests have extensive training and experience with these diagnostics.

When performed by an under-qualified individual, the results can be inaccurate or incomplete. For example, we have found that ultrasonography performed by a registered ultrasonographer along with a thorough review of the ultrasound findings by a trained clinician, provides the most complete diagnostic information.

At Veterinary Care Specialists this is achieved by Kristen Krug, a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Registered Vascular Technologist, and Registered Radiographic Technologist.
